Born July 24, 1936, Duluth, Minn., to

Dr. Alvin N. and Nora (Preus) Rogness. He was a graduate of Washington High School, Sioux Falls, S.D. and Augustana

College, Sioux Falls. While he was a Rhodes Scholar in Oxford England (1958~60) he had occasionally attended and worshiped in the American Lutheran Church in Oslo, where the pastor then was Dr. Oscar C. Hanson, a cousin of his

father Alvin N. Rogness.

He was killed in a pedestrian-

crossing accident in St. Paul upon his return from England.

Honored by his parents Dr. and Mrs. Alvin N. Rogness.
