Evangelist and lay preacher

Born Feb. 17, 1837, Lesjaskog, Norway to Ola Hole (1810- ) and Marit Lida (1809- ).  Married Anne Loftringsmo, Lesjaskog. Died Nov. 22, 1923, Lesjaskog.
They were hard times when he was a boy.  The crops froze several years in a row.  The schools were inferior, but Per was intelligent and learned to read. Morals were low and one morning when Per came home from a card party, he fell on his knees in the barn and prayed.
There was revival in the land. During the winter months Per went about preaching.

Children: Marit; Ole, Jonas; Ingeborg; Mari; Eli.

Honored by grandson Peter O. Molmen, Minneapolis.
