to Ole Pedersen (1817-94)and Marit (Braend; 1823-93) Moen.
Married Dorthe Pedersdatter Braend (1853-1928), July 1876 Sollia Hedmark, Norway. 
Immigrated with his wife to Wyoming, 1888.
Died 1929, Cholera with burial at Laramie, Wyo.

In Wyoming Moen was employed by Union Pacific Railroad, but after several years moved to Colorado where he entered into a cattle business, which is still being carried on by two of his sons and three grandsons.

Brothers and sisters: Peder (b. 1846); Olaf (1852-1930); Ingeborg (b. 1850); Dorthinus (1854-1932); Marie (b. 1857).

MOEN, Mrs. AUDEN OLSEN (DORTHE P. BRAEND) Born Jan. 8, 1853, Braend, Sollia, Norway to Peder A. (1824-1909) and Karen (Olsdatter, 1830-69).
Married to Auden O. Moen, July, 1876, Sollia, Hedmark, Norway. Immigrated with her husband to Wyoming in 1888.
Died Dec. 1928, San Diego, Calif. with burial at Laramie, Wyo.

Brothers and sisters: Marthea (m. Erickson); Marie (m. Otterson); Auden.

Honored by son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Auden O. Moen, San Diego, Calif.
