Mr. and Mrs. THOR NORDSKOG KNUDSONalt
KNUDSON, THOR NORDSKOG Born, 1835, Morgedal, Telemarken, Norway. Confirmed in the Brunkeberg Church. 
Married Asloug Kyrkjebo, 1860, and then the newlyweds immigrated by sailship, to Montreal, Canada,
and then on to Dane Co., Wis. Here on a farm the children were born: Carl, Julia, and Bertha.
Here they were inspired by the pioneer preachers, Eielsen and Dietrichson.
"Then the cry, Free land. Dakota Territory, - Canton, Brookings, - but Telemarkings dislike prairies:
Free land- Paulsbo, Wash. - more like home. Here the daughters married, and here their mother died."
Then back to S.D. with son Carl (m. Hannah Olson) with whom he lived till his death in 1912.
Interment at Volga, S.D. "He had done his work with Christian faith and fortitude."
Honored by granddaughter Anna E. Knudson, Parkland, Wash.
