Born Feb. 11, 1923, Minneapolis, Minn. to Herman and Louise Jensen. Was graduated from Roosevelt H.S.

In 1940 a~d with his parents moved to Oakland, Cal. Attended the University of California, and entered the service. Trained at Wold Chamberlain Field, Minneapolis; Kingsville, Tex. Air Base; Pensacola, Fla.;

Great Lakes, Ill. Commissioned Lt. in 1942, with Marine Corps, as Dive Bomber. Lost at sea in the S.W. Pacific while on duty May 11, 1943.

Siblings: Gwendolyn Jensen Murray (b. 1920); Ronald Lyman Jensen (b. 1932); Yvonne Jensen Dodd (b. 1934). "Our son was so dearly loved and his cheerful presence in our midst is a cherished memory. May the Light of Faith and Truth shed its ray on our pathway of life and lead us safely home." Mrs. Louise
